Secondary suites must have their own private entrance for privacy and safety.

Can be at the side, back, or basement level of the home.

2. Kitchen

Fully functional kitchen with sink, stove, oven, and refrigerator.

Cabinets and countertop space for storage and cooking.

Proper ventilation and lighting.

3. Bathroom

A full bathroom is required, including toilet, sink, and shower or bathtub.

Must meet plumbing and safety codes.

4. Bedroom(s)
